Discover the Hidden Stories of Birmingham's Iconic Number 11 Bus Route!
Explore Birmingham like never before with the Know Your Place Exhibition! This exciting display, presented by the West Midlands National Park Lab, reimagines the city’s famous Number 11 bus route, also known as the "Outer Circle." Take a 26-mile virtual journey through Birmingham’s diverse landscapes, vibrant communities, and rich history.
What You’ll See:
- Street Portraits: Captivating images that bring to life the people and places along the route.
- Archive Material: Rare documents and photos that uncover the hidden stories of the city's past.
- Selected Bus Stops: Unique snapshots of everyday life that showcase the character and spirit of Birmingham.
This exhibition challenges the phrase ‘know your place’ by turning it into a call for pride, belonging, and curiosity about the city’s everyday landscapes. It's a fantastic opportunity to discover more about Birmingham’s culture, history, and the people who make it unique!
Monday to Tuesday: 11am to 7pm
